
Celine Tchang
Musician - Arranger - Educator
Sharing the same first name as Celine Dion, Celine Tchang is an enthusiastic woman sharing her love for music. Growing up in the Greater Toronto area, she started learning piano at age ten where she would practice whenever she had the chance. One day, she was introduced to trombone in high school and changed her life forever.

Celine Tchang (she/her) is a trombonist, arranger, and bandleader based in Toronto, ON. She was honored to study alongside musicians such as Kelsley Grant, Brian O’Kane, Hilario Duran, and Mark Promane. Celine has also been leading other projects such as Kettleband!, a 5-piece funk pop band playing all over the GTA. She is also seen as a side musician in the Carandang Pincente Jazz Orchestra, Charles y sus Estrellas, the Giant Steppas, and more. She has also been featured on Mathew Magneson’s “Light of Day” and Camus Nim’s EP, Born Anew.

Celine received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in Music from York University and her Bachelor of Music from Humber College for Trombone Performance.
